Q: Who are we ?

A: The SAMA Organisation has been established in the South East Since 1978.

It is the largest Martial Arts group in the South,
teaching Tai Chi Kung Fu, Karate and Kick Boxing.
Training 10,000 students weekly in six counties.

SAMA is the most accessible Martial Arts group in the South, giving our students more class options and areas for them to train than any other Martial Arts group in the South.

As a natural progression SAMA Corporate was formed to build on the experiences of the main Organisation and has developed courses for the business environment.

Q: What to wear ?

A: When you first begin Tai Chi all that is required is loose clothing and bare feet.
A traditional black Gi can be purchased through your instructor.

Q: Do you have to be fit to do the course ?

A: You do not have to be fit or sporty, just willing to learn and enthusiastic.

Q: Are the instructors insured ?

A: All our instructors are insured and have been CRB checked.
There will also be at least one instructor on the course that has a current First Aid certificate.

Q: Where are the courses held ?

A: SAMA will hold the Self Defence courses on your site or will provide off site facilities (these off site events are held in local hotel/conference facilities). The courses are usually run during office hours starting first thing in the morning. After hours and weekend courses are available on request.

Q: What is covered in the courses ?

• Personal safety talk and safety in your daily life
• Identification of high risk situations and avoidance
• Teaching participants practical and highly effective Self Defence skills
• Identifying target areas on an attacker's body
• Build confidence in your own capabilities
